Thank you Jalili for your extensive comment.
First about the picture you are right. The small car part at the right hand side could be distracting but it fits very well to the idea that as well as life, an image goes as it pleases, not as we please. I simply had no version without and I had no time or reflex to ask the driver of that car to go elsewhere :-) Further I had no special objective related to Arab or not, more to the contrast of the world of money and power (interest) at one hand and the other of the world of heart and (unconditional) friendship .
Thank you once more for your opinion and advice,
all the best,
Paul

Thank you dear Srna, it happens one in a million to meet the intimate soul mate. And you know very well that it is an incredible experience that ... can make you fly :-)

Let“s me the first to react Nanda. Mostly you do.
This is a fantastic capture. A portrait taken by surprise as it looks. And it looks very very good.
Best regards,
Paul

Hi Nedhal,
thank you for your comment. I do not live in Bahrein but I have been their a few times also this year. I have met many nice people from your country and it is very well possible that these 4 people, unknown to me could be good friends as well. This photo had been taken just at the entrance after my visit to the Business Elite club at the 54th level, which was a fantastic experience at its own. I made other captures as well that I cannot all show here. The reason of my posting is rather personal as a contrast between the material world of power and status and the non material world of the heart and friendship. My life is going through these extremes where it hits me every time. I“m very exposed to these extremes and I feel happy that I get the opportunity to seize these moments in photography,
kind regards,
Paul

Nice car, but also nice friends Nanda ?
How much heart is in the picture and how much interest or delivery of needs and expectations ?
cheers,
Paul

Hi Harry, thanks for your comment. You have better friends you say :-) but are you sure ? Friends from the past in your memories, friends from the internet, friends from who you expect a return ?
You have to find out yourself,
best to you,
Paul

Exactly, well seen Saad.

Maybe I could call a doctor for you Txules. Your head needs some repair. I was not immediately thinking about brain surgery but just a bit of glue would be sufficient in your case,
nice experiment,

Very good Saad,
and I know when and how some inspiration was in the sky for you. And most of the sky is clear, not clouded. The road also is clear and seen from an unique angle of view with more options than only one direction,
great total image, 10+,

I think a very nice portrait Srna, with the power of a glimpse of great thoughts. But the limits are also visible in the guess of who that soul mate is, and the uncertainty if that always will be during a life time,
hugs and big kiss,

A nice composition of shapes, colours and shadows that can certainly win an award. Personally I think it is very good but it still does not give me the touch of an unique creation of art with an exceptional skill or deeper meaning for artist and spectator. I realize that this could be a personal touch and not always aligned with rewards or general opinions.
Nevertheless a good piece of photographic work,
kind regards,
Paul

Signal received Txules.
The good thing with UF is that you can still modify the title, never replace the picture.
No need for that, the picture looks still nice to me.
cheers,
Paul

I am impressed by your image and about. Indeed it is a classic landscape with a high level of recognition. Even if I have not ever taken this road in particular I can imagine that you passed it hundreds of times as made it something that you know from several sites and angles of view, part of your own personal experience. It looks to a similar road I have also taken hundreds of times but it only somewhere else and also I know several roads that got the same qualification during my life. The idea that some roads make a repeated impression every time you get along is universal and that makes it to more than a classic landscape,
best to you,
Paul

Rare image Marian... for Athens.
In all the years I have made visits to Athens I have never seen this. Just blue skies with exceptionally small sheep like white clouds. Also I never saw it in B&W before :-)
Did you participate in rain dances last Summer maybe or were they just other manifestations ?
cheers,
Paul

What kind of rock is it Stan ? Age, tectonics etc. It certainly tells an interesting story, but only colours, shapes and shrubs only will never tell what all happened in millions of years,

A funny deformation on top of the Brain certainly guarantees any special handicraft product as outcome, including any photo work too: Nice tones and composition.

I think a nice candid and a special moment with potential for a somewhat better title, given the subject contrast.
"a man holding the future" sounds weak to me. "Holding the future" would be better, obviously we see a man as well, so that does not need to be said in addition.
Also I do not see so much the future in an old TV reception technology. It is much more the past, also in countries where Satellite receivers are dominantly present. So if an old man holds a TV antenna, then the contrast and the humour could be much more in a title like "Receiving images from space" or "Expecting Reception of a Letter" or my preference :-) "Decryption of signals"

best to you,
Paul
