Can you get a little closer next time? Oh my, what some people will do to get a fantastic image. This is the best volcano image I have ever seen other than a filmed image of a volcano with oozing lava. Superb!

Goodness! This is awesome. Volcanoes fascinate me, although I have never visited one. I love the rich colours in this image. It feels so hot. Nice composition. Very brave. CC

You took this photo in very hot conditions Edgar. I like it. We have in Italy a isle called Volcano, but not so active. Take care.

Thanks Susan for your comment. The answer? Taking a risk. (Its not so smart, but sometimes is the only way), I was relly close from the "lava". Two meters in front of them, but it was not a big risk, because the "lava" at the end runs very slow and in very predictable way.

Wow, you don't see these type of photographs everyday. Even though using a 180mm lens, you were still a lot closer than I would have dared! Very interesting shot and great job!!

I just want to say thank you for your critics to my photos, specially after I saw your gallery. I really admire your work, not just one or two pieces, I really enjoyed your portfolio, you have pieces full of felling, creativity and imagination. Every one is a story, a fantasy a big and beautiful window to the imagination. Mystic wood is my favorite. Thanks, a lot of thanks.

Excelente foto Edgar. Comparto tu decision de enfocar la region naso-frontal- ocular, logrando asi un efecto distorcionado del resto de la anatomia de esta bellisima especie de anfibio. Gracias por compartir tus espectaculares imagenes. Saludos. Yamil
