Imageopolis Featured Photo Critique Can you get a little closer next time? Oh my, what some people will do to get a fantastic image. This is the best volcano image I have ever seen other than a filmed image of a volcano with oozing lava. Superb!

You took this photo in very hot conditions Edgar.
I like it.
We have in Italy a isle called Volcano, but not so active.
Take care.

Giuseppe

Thanks Susan for your comment. The answer? Taking a risk. (Its not so smart, but sometimes is the only way), I was relly close from the "lava". Two meters in front of them, but it was not a big risk, because the "lava" at the end runs very slow and in very predictable way.

Wow, you don't see these type of photographs everyday. Even though using a 180mm lens, you were still a lot closer than I would have dared! Very interesting shot and great job!!

Best of wishes, .... Mike

Outstanding image. You can see that parts of this lava flow are moving! How did you get so close? Cathy
