Thanks, actually I never was crazy about this one. Im more critical of my own work then anybody else could be. I never noticed the eyes on the bottom like that.. your right.
Thanks for the thoughts from my about me.. Ive not updated it guess, but its my life so thats not going to change. My seizures have calmed with lots of meds but they have horrible side effects. But, you know, Ive never been happier in my life (or the last one lol... gotta have a sense of humor!).

Mandy, I think this is fantastic! The colors and layout are really good, but I would of like to be able to see both your eyes in the bottom two images. You are a beautiful women with some stunning eyes. I read your "About" you tag line and wanted to cry. I'm so glad you are still with us. You have a real talent! Regards, Dwight

Mandy, you are very welcome! I just bought a DVD called "Vitalskills with Suzette Allen" from shootsmarter.com and it gets into masks and layers and all kinds of neat stuff. I want to be able to produce images like yours and not spend a day or two doing it. I guess I just need to spend so time working on images now and less time watching dvd's ;-) Dwight

wow thank you for the raving review!
I also use CS2. I did use layers, magnetic lasso, highlighted edges and mostly used paintbrushes for so much of it!
She does love it thank you!

Excellent Image! I bet she loves it. Great idea. I guess this was done with masks or layers in PS. I'm kinda getting into it some now with CS2, but nothing as stunning as this. 7++++ Regards, Dwight

You at least need something between the letters and the photos to help the letters stand apart. Either an edge to the letters, or put them on a separate layer and give them a slight drop shadow. The blue letters are the hardest to read.

Thank you for such intense criticalness... (laughing at self at loss of articulate wording) I will play with it some more, saved it as a project to do just that. The reason for the red, white and blue was she is a young marine and her bday party is this weekend and we were hoping to post it there. I will use your ideas. ALso,,,, warhol.. wasnt sure if that was a compliment or not. AMnesia is hitting me full force in that area.. is that a good thing to be like him??? Thanks!

This looks pretty ok Mandy . . . Were it me (and this is my personal opinion so there is no right or wrong) . . . I would opt for a dark border. I would use it both vertically AND horizontally-while keeping it thin, not just the horizontal as you have done here. The entire outside border can be a bit thicker. I like columns 1, 2, 3 and 6 a lot. I would replace 4 and 5 with other color filters . . . perhaps red (which could reflect the anger without being dark)and yellow. I would then change the letter colors to reflect the column filter colors and jumble it so that a yellow letter was not in a yellow column and a B&W or Sepia divided the three colors. Leave column 1 as is: Original-Red-B&W-Yellow-Sepia-Blue Colors interchanged as appropriate to the eye for columns 2, 4 or 6. You are being very creative and (as Laura mentioned, Warhol-ish). I like this idea very much and see great potential in it.
Regards, Doyle I <~~~~~

Basically to show all sides of her personality is the reason for it. She is very intelligent and bright, but has a dark almost violent side at times, she can be a perfectionist which also sends her into rages of anger, she can be helpful and loving but also emotionless. She is also a YOUNG MARINE. Thats my reasoning for everything I see in this pic.

Hey he looks familar...lol oh yeah that is me..lol
I agree with the previous comment. I think it is out of focus. But I know the circumstance in which the picture was taken, and I know how far you have come since this picture...I think for the time frame, and the ecclectic capture, It was a wonderful job...
BTW, I really like it better in the BW, over the color, the original was very off balanced in the hue.
Always~joey
