Mavis, I'm so glad you posted this...it is just such a good capture of Mother Nature at her best...sharp, clear and with excellent lightingyou might consider playing with the crop some...maybe take off from the left almost to the door (but not to lose the second rainbow...and up from the bottom a bit...then you'd have a portrait style...just a thought so that more emphasis falls on the rainbows...

Firstly thanks on the wonderful comments you eft for me on my recent posting of my little girl, nice one Mavis. Now let's have a good look at this photo.I live in Devon & have never seen this one before, so congrats on a wonderful capture, reflections are good & the brick colour looks superb. Mavis... Sorry I forgot to answer your Scanner question... Polaroid Sprintscan 4000. One of the key's I believe is that I use Silvefast AI 6.0 scanning software. www.silverfast.com It is really great. I also am a big fan of a color calibrated system. Now that I am I do very little to the scan.

I am still at this site, Mavis. I am really at both, Photopoints and Usefilm. I like this site much better, but as you say, there are some wonderful people at the other site. I am so busy these days, with work, and trying to get my flowers planted, that I hardly have time for photos! I am glad that you like my Hibiscus. Hope fully I will be adding more soon.
