Nice scene and good color contrast! Excellent sharpness throughout. One suggestion: the bee is very centered here; you might consider a different crop to use the rule of thirds to focus interest.

I love the layout, composition, expression, and colors here. Great shot! One minor nit; her hair disappears against the blue.

Exceptional catch! Great composition, great scene, great colors. Nice portfolio too!

PS. Thx for your comments on my "The Flying Turtle." For the record, those lines were not PS'd in, they are the suns rays shining in the tank. All that was done to the photo was levels and then a very slight applcation of neatimage throughout for noise reduction. (Oh, and of course it was reduced to 640 and USM applied.) Sorry to put this here on your photo, but the site doesn't really have a response function!

Fantastic closeup! I like the composition here too, and I find the natural light works well here. A minor nit is that the antenna is a bit cropped off and slightly hot. Regards--Neil

Jim, you've outdone yourself on this one. This is a "new" classic! It's fantastic. I can't say enough good things about it! Wonderful.

Wow, that's FANTASTIC. Very ingeniously done. This is one of my favorite images--of all time! As to your question, at first I saw agony, but the more I look, the expression on the face looks like a yawn. The water yawning on a tired, summer day.

Wonderful lighting, subject and composition! I also like the toning! I have a Canon G2 as well; I'm curious if the sepia was as shot in the camera or done afterwards?

Very funny. Great natural moment. I also like the composition--both the way the girls are framed and the fact that the upper left says "way out"!

I love the effect and the shot. Beautiful. It looks like it's slightly tilted to the left though--you might want to adjust.

I really love this shot; nice and unusual left to right composition, with the focal point starting out being the tree but then lots of sharp detail to explore after that. I only wish the mountain in the backgound was more evident in the exposure, but the light, haze and distance makes that quite difficult. Really fine work!

Wow! Great idea and execution. It's hard enough to get pictures in aquarium settings, much less one of those both in and out! Great shot, and one of my personal favorites!

Wonderful work; nice tone and feeling. I am sure you were going for softness, but it somehow seems OOF in places rather than soft (perhaps a matter of degree).

I love the angle/view you chose here! Wonderful geometry. I think I might have preferred a higher shutter speed capture, with less "action" in the cars, but it does say motion here! (Or on the other hand, maybe even a longer exposure with a "trail" would have been cool too.)

Wonderful shot of the lovely child and swing. You might consider cloning out the seams in the background--especially the one above her head, but the others would be good as well. Or maybe just clone the one by her head, and blur the others. You might also adjust for a slight right tilt, unless that rightmost seam is itself crooked.

Good tones and nice image! You might consider adjusting it for the slight right tilt so the power lines are parallel with the image edge.

Very lush greens and good composition and clarity! It might be nice to try and brighten the mossy tree in the foreground using PS; moss photographs so beautifully, and you don't notice it as much as perhaps would be nice here. Lighting throughout the shot, that aside, is wonderful.

Good composition and you caught a good expression. The background use of DOF is good too. The facial features need to be sharper, especially the eyes. Perhaps a bit more light was needed there too.

Another excellent work. Suggestion here: might have been interesting if the dolls eyes were looking into the camera too (how is another question, since I like the position and don't know if those eyes move, and if they did, if they are controllable!)

Beautiful, stand-out detail. I do wish there were enough DOF here though to cover the back stamen. In any case, a wonderful image.

Great motion capture! I like how you have one rider captured, and another as pretty distinct though blurred. As far as a bit of crit, I know it's hard enough, but this would have been a bit better if you caught the end of the back wheel of the rightmost rider. Still quite a remarkable shot, as are the others I see your you have posted today!

Wonderful 3D effect. This is the best "out of frame" shots I've ever seen, and the best use of the effect! Well done! (One question: it does seem as though the first cyclist's front wheel is "higher" than the other, a mini-wheeley? Was that intentional to show him raising his wheel to get out of the frame? Or is that an illusion caused by the contrast/texture changes in the "surface" for his front wheel?

Beautiful work, the slightly hot building works here to make it really stand out. The single star effect on the right is very nice here too. Excellent capture of the sky here too. Lovely picture.

Very nice bird capture in really nice natural surroundings. Good use of DOF. I am having trouble seeing the birds face; it may be a bit underexposed there, or maybe it's difficult in person. If possible without distorting reality, you might dodge that area a bit.

Great shot! I think it's fine with the grafitti, though the character of the shot changes a bit. Actually, I know from reading the comments that you don't want to do this, but my suggestion would have been to try it without the garbage cans at all (cloning them out, rather than reshooting). That would be the better "beautiful" town night shot. As is, it is it's still great, and the graffiti laden cans add character.
