The subject seems a bit bland. Might be the background. You might have tried it from farther back or a slightly different angle.

Looks wet, cold and miserable to me. I like the way the branches on the right are close and focused and the tree and swing are far and fogged. You may be able to crop the top of the shot a little above the top of the tree.

I like your other shots of this place more. Still, there are some interesting anthropoid forms in these trees.

Well, this certainly is swirly! I wonder what sort of photograph it started as. I'd classify it more as art than as a photo.

Neat shot. I always am confused as to whether there is a convergence or not. I'd say there was in this one, the trees on the right bend in towards the top center which happens when shooting up at an angle unless you compensate for it. Love the colors and the road leading off around the bend.

Well, the first thing I notice is that your camera is not level with the horizon. The windswept grass in the foreground says "gale force" to me, not gentle breeze. Cropping the top may help too. I like the concept and think it would be a worthy place to return to and try again, possibly under different conditions.

The old rusty boat is a nifty element but it dominates the whole left side setting the composition off. Stepping back a few feet may be all you need to make the boat a bit smaller. Also the bottom is awfully dark compared to the bright yellow boats.

The angle here is a bit off kilter. If it was possible, try backing up and centering the arch a bit. The foreground seems a bit bright as well.

What a trippy angle (or trippy staircase)! The light on the figure seems a bit bright. On the other hand, the brightness of the light makes the figure anonymous as it climbs out of the darkness. Definitely a message there.

This is a very busy photo and the crowded trees make it difficult to discern the subject. Maybe a shallower DOF might work to get your subject to "pop" out of the background.

Strange shot. Something a bit disturbing in the subject matter that I can't put my finger on. Now I know how things may look should I decide to use an IR filter.

Very moody and ethereal. Evokes a sense of something classic - brooding storm clouds, the old barn... just goes to show you that mistakes or technical errors can be more intriguing than the technically "perfect". Mishaps are interesting and fun in photography!

I like this shot. Only thing I can think of is that the left edge of the image seems a bit close. I'm not sure, though. Love the lines of the bridge. Just a bit of cropping on top and a bit more of a leading edge on the left would do it for me. Excellent!

I'm not sure why this shot popped out at me. Maybe it's the tones or the geometry. Capturing the extraordinary in the ordinary is sometimes difficult but I think this works well. After all, we browse through thumbnail images and one that can pop out and get one's attention says a lot in itself.

Overall this is a nice shot - the purple flower out of focus at front center is distracting as it cuts into your subject area and crowds it. What strikes me is the top background, nice lines and very appealing

A bit of cropping might work at the bottom, however, chopping into the turn of the road removes a nice element of the shot. Maybe just above the rocks at the bottom? Cropping the top a bit may also work. I think you got your "painterly" effect here - sorta impressionistic.

Nifty shot. I'd say the contrast is fine. Any darker and the sky and ground would be awfully bright compared to the house. Have you tried any filters to darken the sky a bit? A #15 deep yellow might add a bit more contrast while darkening the sky at the same time. Just a thought. I'm also not sure if it's the tilt of the building or a bit of convergence I'm seeing esp. to the left side? Nice shot. I love pictures of old buildings.

Interesting perspective - between the shadows zooming the viewer right into the forest and those (seemingly) straight lines of the trees, you've made a nice composition. Great shot.
