I am so pleased that you have received this award, Oleg. I have to say, this image is not one of my favourites of yours. I like it... I like all your work... but it doesn't speak to me as much as some. The reason I'm pleased you got the award is that anything that draws more people to look seriously at your photography has to be a good thing...

Interesting comment... I went to Chichén Itzá when I was 15 years old and Teotihuacán a few years later. These experiences left a very deep impression on me. Lost cultures fascinates me... I'd love to go back to Mexico one day. But this time the worm would stay in the bottle, and not end up in my stomach...
