Ok...this has bugged me long enough. I thought the dog looked so funny in the silly lampshad I never did anything to this picture. I used a flash, but not all the light made it inside the hood, so I am posting an image with some adjustments made (levels & curves).

At a first glance, this was very disturbing, like a dog head mounted on a wall like an elk or something. But reading the explanation, I see it now. haha very good!
