Kyle, I don't remember what the shutter speed was due to the short time the flames were there. The exposures moved so quickly. It was hand held & available light. Normally, I would say below 15, use a tripod or forget it, but I took this photo journalism class that required no flash on any photos. Good lessons! Thanks for your visit.

That is a very nice capture of the flames and its lighting. Did you use existing light? Was it a long shutter speed? If so, an excellent camera not to leave it 'noisy'
