Hi Ben ... didnt mean to sound hard ....... but listen .. if i were you .. i would get out of that club ... you will become stale .. they are pressing you to abide by rules ... you will discover that you have to get out and try your wings. ... Hell Ben .... I remember when photographs used to be sharp and in focus ... now we have "radial blurr" ..... what is that crap? Use your own judgement ... dont fall back on rules. Rules are basic ..... but may be broken .... if the situation calls for it.
~~~~~~~~~~~~ Regards ... Bill
Don't get me wrong, I like the photo. I my photo club if I submit a photo not using rule of thirds, I get low scores. Sometimes 1/2 works. Thanks, Bill
Hi Ben ... thanks for visiting my "turtle beach" photograph. The rule of thirds is not necessary in all scenics or landscapes .. and in this photo .. it was not.
I was just at Turtle Beach last month. Check out so of my photos. I like this shot. i would have used the rule of thirds. One third sky, two thirds land. Love this area.
