This is the latest of my abstract series. As I mentioned previously, I'm looking to create images that move the viewer emotionally without providing the viewer a recognizable "anchor". Let me know how I can improve my work.

Thanks for looking.

I do not really have a suggestion for improvement... quite difficult with this shot, I think the reason is that -like you said yourself- you leave the viewer without any anchorage. So I think you succeeded if this was your intention :) The only thing I can say that it is an interesting image with a good sense of movement. Would be nice if you could tell something about your set-up...

Hi Hugo, thank you for looking. The effect is indeed intentional. It took me about 20 mins to set up this shot and I have a few of this series that I'll be posting in the next few days. I'm glad you liked it. It's one of my favorite.

Wow! I think most people would've returned such a photo as "faulty" because of the unrecognisable motion and blur, but the effect is extremely strong. I really wonder what this is, and if this effect was created intentionally. If so, my utmost compliments. If not, I'm glad you've kept it and shared it. In any case, a very dynamic and intriguing shot!

Cheers,

Hugo
