About Finally found some time to contribute to this site. It's been a busy couple of months!

Anyway, during my absence I've still been taking photos. This is one of them. (Maybe unsurprisingly. ;) )

To me, this photo symbolises so many things - the vastness of the sky, the potential of small people to learn and grow, the awe in which a young child can hold a simple tree.

Well anyway. I like it. Hope you do too. :)

Hi Paulo, thanks for your suggestion! That's a great idea. It could be a very interesting project. I'll head back there soon and see what I can do.

No need to apologise for your English, it's excellent! A lot better than my Portuguese. :)

Thanks Del. :) Yes, it's a very peaceful spot - except when the young man in the photo really gets going. ;)

I love the contrast in sizes in this shot. That gives the feeling of depth. It does look so peaceful and calm. Would be nice to sit on that bench under the tree and just take in the view.

Actually, in this particular case I think the young man was more interested in heading off to see if he could find any squirrels. He wasn't even meant to be in the shot, he just wandered in while I was setting up, but I liked the shot with him in it anyway. :)

All the best, SQirl

A wonderful exercise in demonstrating scale. I am sure all the little folk look upon these monsters in awe. A beautifully composed vertical landscape study Sqirl...All the best, 'see' you again I hope....Ray

Oh, he is. Just after I took this shot, the tree fell down in terror. :)

He looks dangerous. Like a big, burly Lumberjack.
