Yes, I agree. I didn't think of the close crop at the time I posted it, but I was looking at the photo again afterwards and wondering what else I could do to it. And I think I prefer that version.
All the best, SQirl

I much prefer your bolder crop SQirl...The water droplets and the perfect dof look positively awesome in that version. Excellent details and beautiful delicate colours....Well done to you....All the best, 'see' you again....Ray

Hi Marcus,
Thanks! It's nice of you to say so. I loved the effect of the water on the petals, I was quite pleased with how that turned out in the shot. :)

Hi Shirley,
I'm back! ;) Hope you're well.
Since that pic was taken, the crocuses have all been flattened by torrential downpours and high winds. Ah well - you win some, you lose some!
I still can't decide whether I like the tighter crop more than the full image. I suppose the answer is - I like both. ;)
Take care, SQirl

Hi SQirl Nice shot - it says it all - Spring is on it's way for you. I like it as it is - the tighter crop also a great effect though more abstract?? If that makes sense :) Have a great weekend. Shirley

Thanks Rashed. :)
You know, I was just wondering whether this photo might not have been better with a slightly more selective crop, like this one...
