this is my brother Dan Sieg. Hes a professional bmx rider, sponsored by Standard, Profile, and Airwalk. he lives in greenville nc, rides with mirra and nyquist on a daily basis. here he is with a skinny wall tap out of a 6 foot mini ramp. there will be more biking photos to come in the next week...so please comment :)
i do run a SB-50 DX nikon flash. its really nice. thank you for your comments, these photos are mym first attempt with a slave flash, so i will definately work on the placement. thank you much
Jake, I agree with Scott and Bryan about flash placement, you should have it more on the rider rather than the wall. If you want to use an off camera flash try useing on of the Nikon SB series, if you don't allready have one. If you use one use a sync cord instead of the slave unit that way you don't have to worry about over exposure.
Scott, you should explain why he should use slide film as opposed to print film.
Ive seen a pic of your bro in ride bmx. He is gonna be big. The slave flash placement isnt(in my opinion) really that good. Maybe behind him or right under. It would be cooler with some colored saran wrap on the flash.
Great trick, mad props to you and your bro... And why shoot slide film? How does it benefit shoot bmx? i don't know...
