Very nice capture during a difficult moment... provided you were airborne. :) The focus is sharp, I love the lighting, or lack of inside the chopper, I think it works wonders for the composition. His expression is great and conveys a lot of meaning. (of course he *could* be thinking "Which MRE shall I open this evening...")
Very good character study! The colors are good, the expression on the man's face is very serious. The glare from the left side is a distraction for me, I wonder if you could crop a portion of that out?
