About: I recently retired from the mainstream of business. My last position was as the office manager for a court reporting firm.

Over the years I have dabbled in drawing, painting, dance and photography, mostly snapshots. Tap dance has been my main love, I am a professional dance instructor teaching the Mason-Kahn Graded Tap Technique. Recently, I have been looking for a new way to satisfy my creative ambitions. Photography seems to fill that bill. As a beginning amateur photographer I know I have a lot to learn. After many years of shooting “snapshots” with point and shoot film cameras I bought a Canon Powershot G5 digital camera. I have been shooting with this camera for less than a year. My “digital darkroom” is Photoshop Elements 3.
