Hi Bill,
You were absolutely right...reviewed the photo and noticed that I increased sharpness and contrast too much, giving the snow a somewhat dirty look, especially in the foreground.
Would appreciate to know what you think of it now.

Mireille this is an amazing image. I've seen similar stark white images in snow before and have always enjoyed viewing them. I still don't know how they are done but you've captured this one beautifully without overexposing. Your title has multiple meaning here with the lines in the vegetation itself splashed with snow and the rows of lines they are planted in. I like that. Great composition. Lovely tones and another into my favourites. Maybe we should save each other time just by send our photos to each other by email. (haha)

Graphically perfect. Your perspective leads the eye through tis image in away that I come to the foreground and start again. I also like the jagged edge of the line from the rows of leeks bent with the weight of the snow. I am a bit concerned with the green cast in the snow. This is not natural to the extent seen in your image. It adds a starkness but I'd like to see a gentleness in the scene as if a white blanket had been pulled over the leeks. Just my thoughts.
