About Last September I was fortunately allowed to be part of the Tiger Cruise aboard the USS Boxer.

This a special cruise offered by the Navy to family members of the crew. It was designed for family members to experience what it is like to be a crew member aboard a Navy Ship. Nothing was paid for by the Navy. We to pay for our own transportation to the ship, supply our own personal amenities, even pay for our food aboard ship.

A ship this big (over 1200 crew) has a jail or brig. Funny thing was that the inmates of the jail get more room for a bunk that do regular crew members! I liked how this one came out with the officer in charge studying (to the right)because there was nobody in the jail.
