About Last September I was fortunately allowed to be part of the Tiger Cruise aboard the USS Boxer.

This a special cruise offered by the Navy to family members of the crew. It was designed for family members to experience what it is like to be a crew member aboard a Navy Ship. Nothing was paid for by the Navy. We to pay for our own transportation to the ship, supply our own personal amenities, even pay for our food aboard ship.

When we got close to San Diego the Helicopters did some take off excerises. I caught this one taking off and did 2 different B&W conversions. I liked this one because you can see the vapor trail on the left rotor.
