This is me looking out Vancouver Harbour from West Vancouver. I was collecting my thoughts for I arrived there the day before for my grandfathers funeral
I like this one. It has a message to it, and I can almost see the water moving.
I decided instead of a little comment on a bunch of your pictures, I would do an extra-special one on this picture. Sounds exciting, I know.
It looks like you're well traveled. I envy you in that. I have to stay at home and take pictures of the same things over and over. It gets boring. So of course a broad range of subjects makes your pictures just that much more interesting.
You might want to enlarge your photos because it's hard to see them when they're so tiny! Not this particular photo, of course. But other photos on your site. Just from now on since you can't change the other photos.
It seems like you're missing a...a...pop, I suppose, in your pictures. If you'll look at them the colours seem bland. You might want to play around with lighting situations and *gasp* photoshop. Just play around with balancing the colours in your photos. But not too much ps because then it ceases to be photography and dabbles in the range of "graphic design."
In your photos I see you use the rule of thirds to your advantage, for the most part. I have a great website to show you, however, I have to find it first. I'll get on that and get back to you.
I can see how much you're improving with each new photo! Great job! I'm sorry about your grandfather's death. I lost my grandfather three years ago and I'm still not over it. In fact, I think it's better that way.
