Thanks Aram! It's funny how - even though it's only a pumpkin, many people are afraid or disgusted because it evokes fear. But Halloween is about scary things... and I'm glad you weren't turned off by it.

I though of a chinese carnaval dragon! Nothing but a far relation to Halloween. Nice light and composition indeed. Cheers.

Ha ha ha Ina. Might be a while before I eat pumpking again but I'm sure with therapy I'll get over it. ;) I love the other one you posted above. So aptly titled. Good one. It really looks like a screaming pumpkin. Cheers - Ann :)

Thanks Gyuri, I had a number of gory images for Halloween, but I decided to post just one, I think that was enough (;-)), I find interest in decaying materials, not just wood and rust, but pumpkins too. Here's another one (below) which I didn't post - inspired by Edvard Munch's painting - "The Scream"

Well, well, well! I did not understand from the thumbnail what it was, but it became immediately clear when I opened the larger version. There is beauty in ugliness, too. At times I find rotten things mesmerizing! This is exactly what I feel about this image, VERY INTERESTING!

I don't think I can ever eat pumpkin again after this. ;) Very nice lighting you've captured here. The detail is great and I like the way the pumkin skin or shell is it's own frame. Creative idea. Good job. Cheers - Ann :)

You made your point Ina...Yuck! :) It took me a minute (before reading the about) to figure out what this is, but I finally did. Makes me think about brain surgery. Hmmm.
Looking forward to having you back. I always look forward to your posts and comments!
