A superb and finely composed image of decay, Sally. An excellent choice of monochrome to depict the concept.

I like the proportions of boat to flat, tidal detail. The 45 degree angle of the dead boat, is also highly effective and visually satisfying. Good highlight and dark compromises - with a particularly impressive focus, and light, upon the wooden boat planks.

Excellent, and saving as favourite.

Regards
Colin.

So would I - but if I'd gone any further back into the sea, I'd have needed more than wellies!

Vestiges of what once was a part of an Armada...or Napeoleonic fleet. Lovely shot...the texture and the tone are very well preserved. I would have preferred a wider angle of shot, with the bow and all that!

Very interesting composition and detail. The hightlights are blocked up but maybe that is the effect that you were trying to achieve. It looks like it would print very well. Don.

It's hard to imagine that this old ship came to rest and to die there...and to think of all the history and stories that die with it...great image that definitely tells the story Sally, everything comes to pass, no matter how big or small..very nicely done. It's like two different ships when you see the bow and then the stern...so different. Great tones and textures in this one too...well done..Linda
