The stuff is from the bottom of my shoebox, but is very precious to me. I have spend some time last weekend on reviving some of my early "arts". The images were scanned from very faded color prints and than were heavily PS'ed to get some spirit back.
The one here and a couple more from the series I may consider to show here are the pictures of my lovely wife Teresa - at the time she was my GF.
You may likely, and I do, consider the dual-tone + colorization choice for the picture as a platitude, but this was the only solution to revive this 35 years old faded pictures. Wow, I can see a new spirit in it.
Hi Andrzej, I see we really do have a lot in common. It is so much fun going through old shots like this and bringing new life to them. As you know, I have done it several times. We are so lucky to have these old shots. They bring back so many beautiful memories. Andre (Andrzej)
Ina, thanks for the nice welcome. Two other parts of the trilogy are still in my digital DR, hopefully will have them done soon but in a mean time will drop in some other stuff. Cheers, n.j
Hi Andrzej! Beautiful portrait, I love the vintage look! I feel so happy to be the first one to comment on your first post at UF! And what a great one it is! Superb expression and lighting! Great tonality in blue! Excellent! Regards, Ina
