About Although there was no award, this aircraft gets my vote for Best Entry in the enite air show. It was just a static display and didn't fly until the owner took off the following day. This SeeBee amphibian has been my all time favorite plane since I first rode in one back in 1960. The paint scheme was the owners idea. The U.S. Navy never operated these aircraft... but then maybe they should have!
