About Further thoughts on yesterdays post.
The colours and miraculous blurr (from my camera and his hands) were nice but too much. Felt the moment almost apologeticly needed to be stripped down.

gee I wish I had taken my camera...last night got a message from Kelly ..lets get pist.. so I did a U turn and headed back to town.. post Muswellbrook Photographic Award... Kelly gets two guernseys and her and a small gang Bruce the gallery director Steve Blanch the judge and some others are gettin into some beers at the Shamrock Hotel.. the rockabilly bluesish sort of band are cranking with and old hollowed out Gibson and an upright base and drums...the bar shaped like an elongated U... cuts the room in half and cigarette smoke fills the rest of the space left between the punters and Steve and I both say whoa Tri X and go for it as this crowd goes off...I am thinkin of Tosh over in NZ and thinkin man if he finds out I went on the first pub crawl in my life for the last 35 years and didn't take a pic he is gonna disown me.. I am so sorry man, I truly am but I thought of you

I've got to disagree, Ian. For me, it was not at all over the top. I loved the dynamics and movement, especially as it related to music. While I like it here as a b&w, I think I may prefer the color version. Either way, the image rawks.

I don't know Ian, I think I prefer the color version - this is so, um, drab in comparision :-p
Seriously - I think those wild colors were pretty cool and you are losing some of that energy by going to monochrome.
