The blue cast makes this shot very cold, I can imagine a heavy frost when the sun goes down, that is what this picture tells me Tim.

Quite a photogenic spot, but with a problem.
I don't like that rocky ridge in the foreground, would have preferred a composition without it (or else with it hidden behind a snowdrift, something totally out of the photographer's control).
What I don't know is whether such a composition is possible there while keeping those trees and the lake well ballanced in the frame.
As it is you've done a very nice job, good exposure and excellent light.
