About Another sunset!
I was reluctant to post this but I learned somethings in the process.
1) Each sunset is different.
2) If I want them to be substantially different, I could move to a new location.
3) Each sunset is a promise for another day.
4) I am different at the end of each day.
5) If I am different, then the images I make are also somewhat different.

Hi Luke,

while I like your about, my feeling is: don't think about what a picture might do or not =) break rules, make cliches, or even follow rules.

this image is really alive due to the colors. cliche or not =) like the format.

best wishes, Thilo

A cliche perhaps, but always enjoyable to those who take the trouble to really look. Your words are as interesting as your photos and I learned something today from reading them. Thanks, Luke.

Wonderful shades and tones, Luke.
I love your logic, especially how #5 leads right back to #1.

Sunsets are mileposts of a day gone by, and I guess as potential night time prey for roaming predators, the transition from light to dark was always important.

Nice crop, and good use of the rule-of-thirds.
