About I set this up on my coffee table, a miniature wizard and unicorn picked up from the local toy store. After locking the focus and I shut the lights off and bounced my flash at a slight angle.

"Wizards": swords, sorcery, science fiction, kung-fu, fascism, and nuclear holocaust, all rolled into one!! Bakshi's best, in my opinion, and my personal favorite.

Gandalf ain't bad either.

Thank you Cytte, I've always been a fan of the King Arthur, Lord of the Rings, the seldom heard of animated "Wizard" movie and that sort of fantasy / fiction genre.
To me, when I first saw these two characters on separate shelves in a local toy store, I felt that they had to be brought together, as I saw this image in my mind, for a story maybe never to be told.
SO down to the basement we went, with coffee table in tow. I locked the settings into my camera, which was resting on the far end of the table, lens supported by a pencil for a slight elevation. Then using the timer, I pressed the shutter release and rushed over to turn off the lights.
This is a first for me, in that I got exactly the image I wanted, on the first attempt.
Now, when I look at the resulting image, a story is starting to form in my head, to the would be events that might have brought two such characters to this sad farewell.
Just like being a kid again, let the imagination wander and open new doors into possible pasts that might have never been. :)
