I am not sure the Sun would help here - the contrast could be too strong for a good shot;

yes it has the dull thing going on and in contrast the sky makes it just a bit more interesting.....i was going to pump it up a bit but then it looked strange so i left it the way it was. to bad the sun hadn't poped out when i was there at that time

I know great days and I know bad days but I think when the lighting is coming in and out of the clouds are the best days for photographing outdoors. Excellent composition and image. I like the reflection.

Hi Jim,
You take a bus to Lake O'Hara and as soon as you get off the bus you would be shooting photos it is so amazing. But this lake is about an 1 hour hike up some steep terrain. But really worth it! There all sorts of little lakes up there. It would take a long time to cover it all adquately. There is also a lodge there that you can stay at with some cabins. Much of the hiking there can be quite moderate and easy as most of the lakes are in the valley bottom.

like the autumn colors here and these lovely reflections in water; IMHO the blue sky adds lots to this shot, otherwise would be dull
