About
Another shot from the forest . Over the last few days , I've been studying quite hard trying to make sense of "proper" exposure . I've acquired an incident light meter ,and my goal is to be able to consistantly get good results setting exposure manually . Exposure and it's effect on color tones , has been a somewhat confusing issue for me to make sense of, it seems . This image was shot under difficult natural lighting conditions , and it is not perfect , but I think that I've finally started to understand the concept . I think :)
All I can say Rob is... Very, very nice. The clarity, and composition of the shot is wonderful... You might also be surprised to see what it looks like in B&W!
Thanks Sally . Getting an image to have a truely realistic "feel" , is exactly what I am after when I persue better quality exposure . I am convinced that when you get the exposure correct , the tone of the color improves significantly as well . Thanks for taking the time to look and comment . I appreciate it . Oh BTW , you have some GREAT shots in your portfolio .
