Hi Darlene,
As ususal, you got another awesome shot! I just love these Blue Herons. I caught a few recently but nowhere near as close and detailed as you have here! They sure don't seem to like human, and will usually take off at first sight. Well done!!

The truth is is that when Joe finds something and I'm near by in my car, he tries to point it out so that I can get it too! And I do the same, we just make it sound like friendy rivalry! I feel very fortunate to have met these fine photographers through UF, but I must give all the credit to Joe. He told me about the UF and I am thankful for that, it have been a learning experience, so many comment from many nice people,,,,,,,,,,thanks Joe! Darlen

You won't believe this Joe but she stood there forever! Until this very friendly couple came up to the car to ask about my camera and we started talking and then we realized she had flown away, but I got quite a few, unfortunately doing a lot of the same things! Take care. Darlen

Thanks, Darlene. There's a little stream--nothing grand, pure suburbia--but it is one of the main reasons we got our house. And my rationale for the 300 f/4 L IS that's on its way here right now! ;-)
