The 5D really is an outstanding camera. I was using the digital rebel previously and there is just no comparison. The 100mm macro works beautifully with this camera. I've been having a blast with it so far. :)

Hi Laurie,
just noticed that you are using the new Canon 5D...have my eyes on the same camera with "full frame possibility"...
I do also use the Canon 100mm f:2.8 lens which I consider to be excellent when stopped down to f:8.0 !!! Ofcourse it will take you a little while to get used to it.
I am looking forward to more 5D pictures from you in this fine site. Keep up the good work and have a wonderful new week with your new camera.

You've got the hang of it already.
