Hi Pia! After the second comment about iso1600 on this I checked the iso and you are correct....I had it on iso800. Hmmmm...I could have sworn I had it up to 1600. Anyway, even at 800 this image is very grainy/noisy at 100%, but looks very sharp posted here. I do have images at 1600 that look sharp (the one titled 'wanna play' is definitely 1600) on uf, but grainy @ 100% on the original. I even added a slight blur to that one. So could the size they are viewed at be a factor in appearing sharp? And can an image actually be sharp at 1600, though 'grainy'? or is that the same thing? Just pondering out loud here...you got me thinking!

Very nice shot, Janet! Love the focus on the fence, the unevenness, and the B & W treatment. Great DOF. Babe looks pretty! Ina

Once them people walk away and stop staring at me all paranoid like that, I'ma keep biting this fence...I can break it...I can make it. =D
I like the detail in the fence...and you framed it so good. And your baby girl look detailed even though she's not in focus...she looks like a complete sweety! =)

Interesting shot, Janet! If those fences interfere with the shot, then just focus on the fence, right? I like it! Kathy

Hi Susie,
Actually 'she' is more of a softie than she gets credit for! She is responsible for the mis-shapen fence...but it is because of neighborhood dogs roaming. She looks out for the kids very well!! Thanks for your time, Susie, I appreciate it!!

Well this is unique! You are so bold Janet. I like how his eye is framed by one of the fence holes. I bet he's a big old softy, right?

Nice shot, Janet! I like how you've put the dog's eye in an opening in chain-link fence.

Hi Mervo, I had shot this wide open at f1.8 1/80ss. I am not completely sure, but I do see more noise in the original as compared to the post on Usefilm. Maybe the reducing the size makes the noise less noticable?? Thanks for taking the time to comment!

Lovely photo, I like how you focused on the fence too. Remarkable how sharp it is, down to individual hairs. Does the fact you used a very fast lens help with the lack of noise when using ISO 1600? I'm just curious.

Another great one Janet, you're on a roll! I can't get over how much detail is on the fence, love this and it's perfect for black and white.

The clear focus on the fence is a bold reminder to stay clear because he could become dangerous, well done!
