The uniformity of the white backgound succeeds in what you'd hoped for, Angela. SHE is perfectly exposed, so the white behind her is not distracting.

Thanks DAvid. No, no light for this shot. That's an overcast sky behind her and the setting sun in her eyes. I was playing around with what the light of the setting sun will get me.
