About	The original colors of these mountains at the hour they were captured was red, but I worked on them in P.S. and liked them better this way. About 30 miles indirectly north of here is the ancient Nabatean city of Petra, on the way to which quite a few young Israelis died before we had peace with Jordan. Even further north is the place at which Moses is said to have seen the land of Cana'an into which he never entered.

Shalom, Rafi, You have some excellent holiday photos in your recent collection.
Effective abstraction of this fascinating and ancient place. Informative 'about' also. Ancient civilizations are an interest of mine, so I appreciate these images. Finely judged amount of PS work creates an exceptional effect. A seven, and into my favourites.
