About Just trying out a frame in a frame option. Liked bits I'd left out before.

This is great Ian. Thanks for commenting on my Chihuly. It brought me here and while browsing this one really caught my eye. It looks like a painting and I like the treatment with the panel. Very nice.

This is an awesome effect Ian. Beautiful landscape and array of colors. New Zealand truly is a breathtaking beauty of a country. Presentation...well done! Hey, thank you for your critique on my b&w photo. It's much appreciated and it helps! Again thank you. Best regards.

Sarah

Ian, you asked if it was hard to get my mind around the square format (ref. my Sumo pictures). I am really into panoramas, just don't show too many of them on Usefilm because of the 800-pixel limit. So square is quite strange for me. On the other hand, when I'm looking into the finder, it's not too hard to fill the frame. On this shot of yours it looks as if you had it both ways--nearly square AND rectangular at the same time. Neat trick!

A true triptych - the screen feel is very real. I think that the dark border in the outer images should have been part of the center image as well.

Saisissant triptyque...Ian...les couleurs sont ŕ la fois chaudes et reposantes....paysage étrange et silencieux qui rappelle beaucoup certaines régions reculées de la Suisse.

Merci pour ton comment Ian

Skinning surface? Refreshing! A bit heavy front plane to me.

Agreed Petal! Maybe I should try once more. Just a halo of light for the mountains. Feeling a bit self conscious about using burn, I fear it is a fad. I know it's a very old technique.

Nice.... the shot, the presentation and the view, very nice!!! I personally like the two 'dark parts' even better.... the vignette effect makes a otherwise somewhat dull sky more 'interesting'... well done!!!

the frame in the frame imo empasizes the idea of road movie. it accentuates one central motive in the continuously changing flow of pictures.
the colours are very attractive too, they make me feel the clear and fresh air of early autumn.
