About Skating on the surface of our not-so-clean pool.
Don't worry, I saved him!
He's dark because I was shading him, hehe. Couldn't lighten it with software without screwing up the background...
Comments most welcome.

Very good photograph.
If you would like to participate in the exposition of photographs “Through the spider’s web”, please send us a blank e-mail using "spiders" as the subject, so that we could forward you further information.

Well actually I really like the background here, but when I tried to lighten the spider more all sorts of other lines came up, which spoilt the effect quite a bit...this is the so-called "not screwed" version. So I'm glad you like it :)

Hi Nadia.
My first comment for you.....
Screwing up the background has actually made the photo nice! Makes your eyes appreciate the green freshness at the same time focusing on the subject.

This is a really good shot. The thumbnail doesn't do it justice...the bigger shot shows such nice detail. I love the water b/g and how each little leg is pressed slightly into the surace tension just enough to hold itself up. Great post.
