Thanks James, I will give the link a look! You are very helpful. And I will let you know If I get a chance to head your way. By the way I grew up in Alberta too in Edmonton till I ran away to the mountains where I learned rock-climbing and mountaineering. I don't do either seriously now due to the extremeness of what I was attempting most times, I count myself lucky to still be alive....many of my friends are not. Some kind of Karma? Exploring is new ground is something I love to do and photography helps me get out there.

having seen a lot of your portfolio, the place in china yoiu owuld be interested in is called "Jiuzhaigou" in sichuan province. do a search for it online and i know you'll love the place when you see the photos taken there. lakes, villages, waterfalls, forest and so on.

Gorgeous! I love the clear green color of the water. Where I am from, our lake and river water is constantly muddy and brown. I have no words for such a beautiful place. Nature landscape photography is my absolute favorite. If I could put your whole portfolio in my favorites I would! I am thankful that you list the location of your travels... I would love to go hiking and see the beautiful places you have documented.

A much better photo than one would guess from the thumbnail, Tim. The emerald green depths look frightfully cold to me... but the colour is really beautiful. A lovely shot!
