Beautiful interplay of texture, shadow, and shape. The curve of the shadow, from upper left to lower right, really unifies the image. I especially like your 2nd version - the extra contrast helps all of the elements of the image come together.

hi, like your point of view and the shadowplay is great!...i would go a bit bolder with the contrast level so that the shadows are darker...
