Dear karly thanks alot for your nice words
actually this shot i took it on shutter priority mode setting the shutter speed high, about s=1/320, and then i tried it on manual mode, setting the shuetter speed to S=1/125 and the arpeture A=f/8, and it gave me an excellent shot too..

... sure is a great tribute tarek..
a delicate and great thougths - gift for your friend.. maybe in the photo have a litle aberration and over-exposure in the white part, maybe is the lens or the great resize for the enlargement

This is excellent, Tarek. You could try some gentle unsharp mask, to enhance the detail. Very well done with a 'point and shoot'.
I've just bought the same camera, . I tried to get a shot of the moon, on self-time and tripod. But I just got a white blob!.

Wow - that moon looks huge! Whenever I try this, my shots come out blurred :(
Have you thought about turning it into a B&W photo - it would get rid of those tiny bits of coloured noise.
Really stunning shot.
