About Another pano, from two landscapes stitched vertically, makes 100 deg FOV in a square format, and allowed for compensation of 4 stops dynamic range between field and sky. 1/50 sec f:7.1 and 1/800 sec f:7.1, ISO 200, @10 mm. Color temperature for both shots was warmed up a bit and matched with CaptureOne. Color palette is from a color layer, blending mode "color", over a sepia toned B&W, with about 50% opacity. At last, a slight barrel distortion.

das ist wundebar! :)
great shot, i love the technique you used here, you got an incredible light and a perfect detail sharpness on those plants, leaving them a bit "outside" the background... 7/7!!

Wow Carsten, impressive portfolio you have ;-)!!!
Just the style I adore, and this photo is one of very successful. Great wide angle, I like your choice of presenting it in the biggest possible size, it deserve it. You just now gave me idea how the solve the problem with dynamic range I often have. Excellent!

Another absolutely wonderful piece, Carsten. The bright and dark contrasts and the deep, rich colours of the corn stacks command a long look. There is such a forboding mood with a touch of hopeful brightness. Terrific.

Barry, thanks for stopping by ! I tried a dozen versions, also other color palettes. I think the sepia based palette is nice for a harvest time feeling, IMO

Cheers

Exceptional clouds formation replicating the formation of the corn. I'm not sure about the sepia tone but it's a minor point in a wonderful image.

Hi Carsten,

Another Carsten masterpiece. I love the way the most ominous parts of the image are so weighty and centered. This is what comes to mind when viewing. A great foreboding that is pensive at best. The detail, clarity and tones are impeccable. An absolute treat to view. Perhaps you should publish and release a book?

Best regards,
Darin.
