It does have that late afternoon mellow autumn light, which is so appealing. Central is fine with me (I'm not in the Rule of Thirds camp), it veers nicely to the right at the top. I like it in color, it has that "mellowness" which suits the gentle curve and the dried leaves on the empty alley. Almost looks like someone had left the scene...I wouldn't change anything.

nice shot Anthony...i like the compo quite a bit.as you've mentioned in your about, a B&W would be a good option as well. aside from that, i'd do one of two things differently. either crop the top so that the shadowed corner isn't there, or simply take the shot at a time when there is no shadow there. either way it'd make the path trail off into the edge of the frame. best wishes, and thanks much for your recent comment on my photo. cheers, todd
