This is very dramatic!
The sharp upward angle does several things: it emphasizes her very loooong lashes, gives a prominance in the shot to the line on her chin and sets up the lower half as mostly negative space.

the strong shadow across the chin makes it appear as if her face is actually a mask. VERY nicely done.
