Very good composition, I really like the idea of vertical shot with the cemetery visitors / family members standing against the vast mountainscape. Maybe I would also try out a B&W
Cheers

Hi kiarang-

I have never seen a cemetary such as this.
From your title alone, I would not have understood.

*Sammy, why you needed to read about this shot to find your feeling about? isn't it straight?

sammy - sammy -   {K:4108} 9/7/2005
Hi kiarang-

I had to read "About" to understand what is going on here. The expansive background is perfect for your idea.

Thanks Kiarang to show us your world.
Sometimes so different and sometimes not so far from ours.
This composition with people and mountains is nice. It gives a direct impression on how the man is so small compared to the world and the life.
Very good

*Dear claude, i owe you for this helpful critique, you have found a Dominate feeling in my composition that's exactly my purpose. many thanks for this good critique.

  0

Claude Tenot   {K:9960} 9/6/2005

*Certainly they are talking about another thing. not about death. maybe love....but the title is a little passage to what i mean with this photo and this characters in location. thanks dear Ameed for your support.

This is just my favorite way of composing a photo, wonderful space with amazing clarity, Thats the way I like it and I would rate it 77777 all the way :)
But why do you think they are talking about death?
Regards,

Toshi  Toshi    {K:11924} 9/5/2005
Very strong capture Kiarang, the wide open space reinforces the loneliness of death. But even through death people can still come together and share their feelings and thoughts. Well composed and a solid composition, nice work.

A perfectly timed capture, it really makes the viewer wonder what they're discussing.. Those distant trees in the back make a beautiful background. Good capture, once again :)

Linda Imagefree Linda Imagefree   {K:72276} 9/5/2005
The large expanse of the background which seems to go on and climb higher and higher into the distance, and the title give me the feeling that death is bigger, longer than life, elusive and difficult to grasp, and that perhaps death is eternal, it seems to go on and on. The distance between the foreground and the background tell me that there is a short time between life and death, and the distance between the speakers tells me that there is room for people to differ in their feelings about death, room to explore...very nicely composed dear Kiarang...:):)

Joggie van Staden Joggie van Staden   {K:41700} 9/5/2005
Very dramatic and effective composition Kiarang. The almost overwhelming background really underlines the feebleness of man and the death he needs to die once. Great image.
