Well captured. Great expression on his face - this would work well as a portrait with or without the sketch. I also like the natural tones, I suppose it was a cloudy day, lots of diffused light. Thanks for your kind (and enthusiastic) comments also - they made my day. Regards, Gary

Really nice street shot, Brie! I like his expression and his 'bearing' - there's an elegance about his posture as he focuses on his art. Interesting contrast between his almost closed eyes, and the wide-open eye in his self-portrait!

Thanks Neal, though I actually didn't crop this photo at all...though perhaps that just means how I took the picture? Some of this photography lingo I'm a little rusty on (ehem.)but atleast I didn't do any cropping on PS. Heh. I guess what I'm trying to say is Thanks?

Perfect cropping. I like the tension created by showing only half is drawing. Excellent.

Thanks guys, it always feels so good to hear from you! Glad you liked this. Yeah, this guy was pretty cool, I could tell just by watching him (i was pretty suave about the whole situation and thus he did not catch on..hehe). But yes, Linda, I get into my own world and I know he was in his. Gracias Armando, que bueno que te gustó!

Nice angle of information in this image Brielle, yes you definitely captured this mans concentrated gaze...I love to watch people this way too, especially if they don't know you're watching, otherwise you have to quit...hahaha...I know my photography takes me to another dimension and I'm sure once in the right brain mode it happens to all of us, he's probably in his own world...interesting peek into his self portrait..just seeing that one eye is a bit scary...nice work Brielle...:):)

Excellent double portrait Brielle! Wonderfully seen. I like the fact that you did not get the whole face in the sketch, but I would have liked to see slightly more of it.

A very good environmental portrait, Brielle! You've really caught the mood and concentration of the artist. Thanks for your comments, too, they're appreciated! Dave.
