hi Susie! i had no idea of what could be ISO untill you tell me hehehe! well, i looked in my camera and discovered that 'my' ISOs are always automatic! i mean, i have never changed it myself, nor knowed that i could do it, but i could see that there are 4 options: auto, 100, 200 and 400. so, thanks for your question! it made me to discover new possibilities for new pics!
anyway, the picturesque qualities in my photos are mainly due to changes in color/contrast/definition, and lots of manual retouching. in fact i often aim to attain exactly that quality because i am a professional painter who has never attained that good quality in my own paintings!!!! yeah! a bad painter is becoming a good photographer!!! you know... such softness of textures, that minute detailing and tender colouring in wide degradées only can be made with months of painstaking effort amidst canvas, oil paints and heavy clouds of chemicals... and lots of patience - thing that i am used to be in serious want heheheheh! and you know that in half an hour one can do a fine new picture if he would master the basic PS.... regards!!!

It's sort of the equivalent of film speed in the non-digital world. A man told me the other day that 1600 ISO produces photos that look more like a painting. Yours certainly do! They are wonderful.

Very beautiful Ricardo. Do you use a very high ISO setting to get the painting effect? Whatever it is, it works well!
