About The flood passed off this lake without serious consequences,compared to many other alpine regions where the flood ran damaged the villages and the mountains came down.Here people could reach the houses close to the lake with boats and slowly return to normality.
Fire works worked all day and night.
Some boathouses and warfs are damaged...the 3. time in the last hundred years.

Yeah, was really frightening to see how ravaging the rains were .. i remember 3 years ago, when Prague and Dresden were so seriously hit, i feared for a repetition of this doomesday scenario ..

So you are fortunate. We saw on TV what the water did in other European countries. I also remember from our trip along the Danube seeing the high water marks, which makes me think that it's not just Global warming that is to blame. Outstanding photo, dear Ursula.
