This is a great shot.
The soft edges and the frame really add to the photo.
One small fault (my opinion) the bandana seems a bit distracting.
Good exposure for a back-lit shot. Did you use flash?

Thanks for your commenrt on my new grand daughter. Of course, she's the cutest ever ;-) All babies are the cutest.
I love the dog's name. The colours in this are lovely. The fades edged frame really presents the 2 friends with their smiles so well. Great picture, beautifully presented.

Your eyes very sharp for details, it's very nice contrast (dark & light) with splendid colors. Very nice portrait with very happy dog! It reminds me my Freddie called dog. He died long time ago.
