Great shot, Larry! An eye catching and unusual perspective that really draws the eye in. The lush greenery provides a nice counter balance to the path and the light opening. A photographed view of a road or rails leading away from the viewer in perspective is a very common theme and compositional element in photographs, and with good reason, but improperly used it can be a tired cliche. Not so here! The opening through the trees in this image gives us a destination and a sort of promise, even hope, just around the bend ahead. Nice work!

This picture really captures the beauty of the path, Larry. The lighting is so varied and yet so balanced. I feel more like I'm standing on the path rather than looking at a picture.
